John Steffler & Susan Gillis. Sunday August 7. John gave a lively reading from his novel, German Mills; Susan read from both new and published poetry.
Paul Dutton. July 17, 2016. The afternoon included memorable performances of Mercure and Hiding. Paul also read a poem by bp Nichol, and spoke about Nichol's influence upon his work.
Harold Hoefle & Kevin Bushell, Sunday June 12, 2016.Harold Hoefle's debut collection, The Mountain Clinic was published by Oberon Press.
His poem “A Loving Follow-Through” is the most recent
winner of the Banff Centre Bliss Carman Poetry Award Contest through Prairie Fire. Hoefle teaches in the English Department at John Abbott College, and lives in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Québec. Kevin Bushell has had poetry published in the Antigonish Review, Exile, Prairie Fire and elsewhere. He currently teaches in the English Department of Vanier College and lives in Pointe-Claire, Quebec.

Lorie Wright was the guest artist at the 2009 Fall Fibre Affair, held
at Allan Macpherson House, Napanee. On display were numerous original
example's of Lorie's long-stitch book bindings. We currently have a
selection of Lorie's books available in the shop.

Book Award for Poetry 2014. Many thanks to Beth Follett, the publisher
of Souvankham Thammavongsa's Light for offering us the
opportunity to adorn our walls with this distinguished prize. Beth has
since donated her Trillium Book Awards for 2015 for the publication of
Kate Cayley's, How You Were Born, and for 2016 for the publication of Soraya Peerbaye's, Tell: Poems for a Girlhood, which are now on display in the shop.
